Giant waterfalls

On the occasion of the Chanel Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show, coursing waterfalls transformed the nave of the Grand Palais into the Gorges du Verdon. To create this incredible decor, imagined by Karl Lagerfeld, Ateliers Devineau called upon Crystal Group.

DESIGN, CREATION, PRODUCTION:

  • a 2,000-m2 pool containing more than 800 m3 of water
  • 30 x 100 m3/h pumps installed in the pool to carry the water to a height of more than 15 m to create the waterfalls
  • a closed circuit

RESULT:

  • An extraordinary installation
